THE PLAN

THE FOOTPRINTS ARE STILL THERE.

WATCH JESUS

WE DIDN'T START WITH A FORMULA.
WE STARTED WITH JESUS.

Watch Jesus through the Gospels and a pattern begins to emerge.

Watch what Jesus notices. Watch who he moves toward. Listen to what he asks of people. Notice the boundaries he crosses, the people he welcomes, and what he teaches his followers to do.

Again and again, the same way of living comes into view.

NOTICE. CONNECT. CARE. REPLICATE.

The Plan begins by paying attention to Jesus.

01 — NOTICE

PEOPLE ARE EASY TO MISS
WHEN WE THINK WE ALREADY KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

We do it all the time. A face becomes a category. A story becomes an assumption. A person becomes one of them.

Jesus kept interrupting that habit.

He noticed the person others had learned not to see—the child, the beggar, the woman at the well, the tax collector, the person everyone had already decided something about.

Jesus didn't just see people. He noticed them.

Noticing is attention with intention.

NOTICE

Notice the person before the category.

02 — CONNECT

JESUS KEPT MOVING TOWARD PEOPLE OTHERS AVOIDED.

He stopped. He approached. He asked questions. He shared tables. He entered homes. He allowed people to come near him.

Time and again, Jesus crossed distances others maintained—social distance, religious distance, cultural distance, even the distance created by fear.

Noticing made the person visible.

Connection brought them near.

CONNECT

Cross the distance between you.

03 — CARE

JESUS MADE LOVE HARD TO MISS.

Love wasn't merely something Jesus felt or talked about. It took form in what he did.

He fed people. He healed them. He touched people others would not touch. He defended people being diminished. He gave his time, his attention, his table, and himself.

His care wasn't calculated by what someone deserved, what they could return, or whether there would be enough left for someone else.

Jesus cared from abundance, not scarcity.

CARE

Respond with abundant care.

04 — REPLICATE

LOVE WAS NEVER MEANT TO STOP WITH YOU.

Jesus didn't simply care for people. He invited people to follow him—to practice his way of living until they could carry it to others.

What began with Jesus moved through the people who followed him. They learned to notice. To connect. To care. And then they helped others practice the same way of life.

The circle kept growing, reaching people they would never meet.

The practice traveled.

 REPLICATE

Help others practice the way of Jesus.

THE PLAN

NOTICE. CONNECT. CARE. REPLICATE.

This isn't something to complete. It's something to practice.

Notice the person in front of you. Cross the distance between you. Respond with abundant care. Help someone else practice the way of Jesus.

With practice this path becomes a way of life.

IT CAN START WITH ONE PERSON.
